Sketch of HoloViews/GeoVidews roadmap:

Re-implement HoloViews layouts using Panel, to allow more flexibility
Replace pyplot calls in Matplotlib backend with the object-oriented API, to avoid interacting with the current backend
Generalize Annotator objects
More fully support Plotly backend
Add Element types from http://pyviz.org/Roadmap.html

Support Datashader's geo functions as operations
