Golden Layout Template

I tried to use the golden layout template, it is amazing!

One thing that I would like to better understand (which is probably not added, at least in the demo) is how to add again a component once you have closed it (accidentally).

Can you explain how or is it not possible?

I found what I exactly looking for in the golden layout webpage, i.e. Dynamically adding Components:

Is there any chance to use these features in panel?

We should definitely have a way to restore components once they have been closed. I'm not entirely sure what that should look like but it seems pretty crucial. I also agree we should be able to restore components. At the bokeh level we should probably handle this via RootAdded and RootRemoved events. I haven't dug into this deep enough to see how easily that can be done.
