Proposed change
Following #73327 there is now a more specific exception for detecting normal timeouts that occur every evening when the panels are in darkness. This means we no longer need the hack of looking at the exception text to distinguish between darkness timeouts and 'real' errors.
In addition the PR removes some more legacy yaml support code that is no longer needed now that the deprecation period is over.
