Logistic regression is there just from first principles, although the readership of mefi is probably such that the donations will look logisitc iff you flatten out the daily cycle of readers, which this doesn't really have enough data to do.

I'm guessing I missed many of the data points because I only skimmed the whole thread. Minutes are since the first report I could find in the thread.
