either when i try to go to tartarus or i defeat a shadow. i tried lots of other versions of the program but it still crashes whatever i do. the first 70 hours of the game were all fine though...

For issues this late in the game, it would be great if you can upload a save game so that people who have the game easily can get to the crashing point and see what's going on.

i got same issue and i tried from 0.8 to latest dev build but it still crashes. i tried your save game and got crash too. i use ppsspp 64 bit on windows 7 64 bit. I have this problem after I reach Harabah Block. Before i reach Harabah, i use ppsspp 0.7.6 dev build (i forgot the build number) and it never crashed.

but when i used ppsspp on my android with somaa's save game (resume floor, without teleporter), it doesn't crash. something weird with my computer's opengl driver? i used AMD Catalyst Driver 13.4 on above test, now i use AMD Catalyst Driver 13.6 beta 2 but ppsspp still crashes. What is the best AMD Catalyst Driver for my HD 6530D ?

at http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalyst13-4WINReleaseNotes.aspx, amd update the opengl driver to 4.3. Does ppsspp support opengl 4.3? If doesn't, then that's the thing which cause ppsspp crash on my computer

It's a bit hard for me to recommend the right AMD driver for you since I'm using a legacy (older) card, the Radeon 4670.

For me, the best drivers are Catalyst 11.11a. No crashes, no hang ups, in properly working games like Persona 3.
Also make sure that your Catalyst A.I. is off.

do you use ati/amd card too? if not, then something wrong with DEP or maybe 3D emulation. i think c0000005 is DEP problem

Broke Disgaea on x64 only, not sure why right now.

c0000005 can be any sort of crash (write or read through a bad pointer, a simple access violation).

And fwiw, that crash is from an Intel OpenGL driver.

I think this may have gotten solved with the vertex attrib work I did recently. But I don't have test results.

Since there have been no duplicates in the last 3 months, I'm going to close this. We can create a new issue if we find new crashes, it's likely to be unrelated anyway.
