Tested on 0.7.6-1508.

At the end of each level, the player receives a bonus in the Hall of Heroes.
There is a funny bug that makes the entire scene in the Hall of Heroes colored with opaque pink.
Lightings remain and are visible over the pink color.
It is posssible to get the reward and exit the level. Lights help to find the right path.

I used default parameters and tried, without success, disabling jit, hw transform and buffered rendering.

I attach screenshots and a report.

Details about the log :
I loaded a savestate. The game started just before the exit door of the second level.
I walked through the door, a loading screen appeared.
Finally the buggy Hall of the Heroes appeared, I took the reward, skipped the video and exited.
I then stopped the emulator.
I think it took me a bit more than a minute.

Hmm.In the version I have this is how hall of heroes looks like .Only the green genie I see.nothing else.But all videos and NPC characters give you their weapons normaly.
medievil problem

@DanFortesque Yes, everything works fine in this game except for graphics rendering in the Hall of Heroes.

@Deivis123 As you can see in the pool requests section, there is many things more pressing to commit. Furthermore, the developers will have to debug and enhance the impending new UI.

But this games is playable right? from start to the end? There are no more other surprises besides hall of heroes aren't there?

@Deivis123 I did not finished it yet on ppsspp. But I think it is safe to play it. In the worse case, you will get stuck somewhere in the adventure. While you progress in the story, making multiple savegames, and if necessary multiple memory sticks backups could be a good idea in order to keep peace of mind.

But its really hard to navigate once you are in hall of heroes. I've collected my second chalice and i've no idea where to go. I suppose i could just look it up on youtube or just wait till this is fixed and that is gonna take a while.

If you did not open the book, you can use it as a reference point (B position).
It is situated between chalice givers 1 and 2.
It is detectable thanks to the few glowing dots.
You need to make Dan reach the D position, between the two chalices (1 and 2 on the screenshot).
You need to avoid the center of the room.
You can walk along the walls to guide you.
You need someway to act as if you were blind.
When you've got the chalice you want, you need to pass between the two fires.
I'm sorry, I'm not a graphics engine. Thus, the perspective is very badly rendered :D

There seems to be another similar type of problem once you go to play guardian o' the bell in Gallowmere plains. I've tested every other minigame and they worked fine with no problems. But because of this you cant get a token from this minigame which makes impossible to acquire a sword for 8 tokens.

This could be stencil or color testing. We've done some things to maybe improve it. Any changes in how it looks?

Have you tried the latest build v0.9.5-949-g0c413d1 ? is it same issue?

@raven02 Go to The Graveyard, collect souls, pick up cup and get out of level. You get into Hall of Heroes and then - pink screen.

There we go, it's set fog2 to INF for some reason, and our shader doesn't like that.

This should just be a matter if checking for INF and setting to a large value instead. I'll give it a shot, hang on.

@raven02, can you try that? If that doesn't work, try some other replacement values like 0 or 1 or 100000000. Not really sure what the game intended here, and not sure how the PSP will handle INF there.

@ProblemsHouston , we just fixed the problem in the emulator source code. If you're not building yourself, just grab a new build when it shows up on the buildbot.

Error is back in 0.9.6.2 of PPSSPP. Honestly do not know what I am doing wrong here.

You're using the wrong version. Download the latest from the buildbot or wait for the next update (which is coming soon).

0.9.6.2 should have the fixes for this game, since the commit was merged before its release..

Well, let's begin the process with information 'extraction':

@Lerianis: What platform are you running the game on, what version of PPSSPP are you using, and what region of the game do you have? Does it help to restore PPSSPP to complete default settings (Game Settings -> System -> Restore settings to default, then exit and re-open the emu)?

Never mind about this..... stupid me did not turn on the 'Hardware Transform' setting. Once I did that, everything was fine and dandy.
Really wish that they would turn that on by default if it is needed for some games.

Wait - if this still happens in software transform, we are missing a fix there.

That should have taken care of it. Please test in software transform mode with that change.
