看上去是文章的参数缺失，麻烦详细说下你的操作步骤，或者是参考首页的说明来执行，如下：

cp -r themes/hugo-theme-next/exampleSite/* .

我把cp -r themes/hugo-theme-next/exampleSite/* .命令改成cp -a成功运行

比较好奇 cp -r 和 cp -a 本质上并没有太大的区别，为何 cp -r就失败了，晚点我尝试下 Hugo 不同版本看看。

这个问题应该算是 bug，不过现象也是很奇怪，一个判断分类的长度的写法在 v0.99.0版本之前都有问题，后面重新换个判断的写法就能正常运行，所以建议还是尽量使用最新版本的 Hugo 比较好。
