Hi!

Have you made sure that there is a environment variable LADSPA_PATH which points to the place where your LADSPA plugins are located?

@Reaper10 : Were you able to set the LADSPA_PATH environment variable with the information from @JonnyTech ? Or do you need more help?

Borrowed and edited from the Java Docs.

Windows 10 and Windows 8

In Search, search for and then select: System (Control Panel)
Click the Advanced system settings link.
Click Environment Variables. In the section System Variables.
Under the system variables, click Edit if there is a variable called LADSPA_PATH, if there is not, click New.
In the Edit or New System Variable window, specify the value of the LADSPA_PATH environment variable.
The name of the variable should be LADSPA_PATH, and the value should be something like: C:\Program Files(x86)\Audacity\plugins
Click OK. Close all remaining windows by clicking OK.
Reopen Hydrogen

Some notes:
Plugins can be found here if you don't already have them: https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity.html/LADSPA_plugins-win-0.4.15.exe
Plugins do not come standard with Audacity
Can not use VST, Nyquist, LV2, or other plugins.

Hi,

i've added a new default path for ladspa plugins in the current development version of Hydrogen. This is an addition to the locations given via LADSPA_PATH.

If you install Hydrogen 1.0-alpha from here, Hydrogen will also look in your Users directory under .hydrogen/data/plugins for ladspa plugins.

@Reaper10 : did you try the hydrogen 1.0-alpha mauser gave you a link for? Did that worked out? Can you please try as well with 1.0.0-beta1 which is newer than 1.0-alpha and report back if everything is worked as expected?

@mikotoiii thanks for the precision. I've added a note to the release assets for 1.0.0-beta1.

Have you install LADSPA plugins on your Windows system Hydrogen is not able to find/load? Then could you provide your log file and all environmental variables used when starting up Hydrogen?

Or do expect Hydrogen to be shipped with a set of plugins? Unfortunately, it does not. There was an attempt to do so but we decide against it.
