Abstract

This ZIP introduces an updated minimum listing duration for the zano marketplace API, increasing from the current approximate duration of approximately two to three weeks, to four months and presents a new listing fee structure.

Motivation

The purpose of this duration increase is to better enable listings of digital content, that would normally become a semi-permanent listing on traditional marketplaces. Longer durations will also enable Zano.life the ability to move listings on-chain from off-chain databases.

Rationale

More users will utilize the zano marketplace api and related third-party marketplace providers. In the current implementation a user must pay a transaction min-fee per listing. Longer duration listings will save the end user from spending excessive amounts of zano.
