BID - Bhavcopy Instant Downloader, from iMake Digital is a FREE windows based bhavcopy data downloader and scheduler for Indian Stock Exchanges, NSE, (BSE and Futures and Options under development). BID connects directly to the NSE exchange servers to download this data. Hence the downloaded data is 100% authentic. BID is designed to download daily as well as historical EOD data for Equities (multiple series), Indices and Futures segments. BID downloads and processes the data in a format that can be imported in technical analysis softwares like Amibroker, Metastock and Fcharts.

I tried downloading from 01/06/2023 to 09/06/2023 using series filters EQ/IV/RR. For 01/06/2023 download contained data for the mentioned series filters. But subsequent downloads from 02/06/2023 to 09/06/2023 did not contain series filters data for IV/RR.

2nd if possible, try to save settings across runs. For example, when i run the program, i have to manually set series and headers. Download folder setting is saved.

Hi.. i believe there is some issue with network server. This has been noted from today. I am working on it. please give me sometime and I will get the issue resolved

PLease check your antivirus and you have to accept and allow the file to be downloaded. Also check your windows defender.

Alright ... Yes I will check and work on adding the BSE bhavcopy Data. I was earlier planning to but I believe there was not much demand for BSE bhavcopy. But please give me sometime and I will surely try and incorporate.

Some people were getting the 404 error due to changes in the NSE server protocol. The same has been rectified. The new version can be downloaded now.

Dear @iMakeBid , for your attention: i am using "BID" on windows 10 , no issues working fine ,
unfortunately it was not work onv" windows 7 ultimate "..
any trick or additional requirment need to run on windows 7v ?

please reply .

You can try installing the latest dot net framework from the Microsoft website and check.

you are using 64 bit instead 32 bit pls contact software autho

Probably the app wont work on windows 7. Request if you can post screenshot of the error

It says the file is not compatible. I think the version of windows is not supported. You can try running it on compatibility mode. Else I dont think it will work on windows 7. So you may need to upgrade your windows.

Thanks a lot for your effort Sirji...
I downloaded previous EOD data files, but it hangs on 31st july 2023.
Abort botton not responding. I want to restart it.
I uninstalled & installed again, but there is no any response.
Kindly provide a solution....

The file does not exist on the NSE server for 31/07/23 hence the error. Probably they have removed or changed it. You can change the date and check it should work.

Please check your internet connection or firewall. Your internet is not connecting to the NSE server. Please speak to your internet service provider or try after sometime.

PLease unistall all versions and then reinstall. This is a minor update. Only one sym,bol added by NSE.

Hi Sir,

I just download the BID 1.9.4 from the link provided by you and tried to download the data from 01-10-2019 till date (09-05-2024) but this is the error I am getting

I even tried changing the date to 01 Mar'24 to 31 Mar'24 but still getting the same error.

Request if you may kindly guide what's gone wrong here by me.
