Trough Asymmetric CPC

Here you can find the parameters definition for the Trough Asymmetric CPC concentrator. This geometry concentrates the radiation into a tube, but the tube is not created when the shape is added to Tonatiuh scene.

Parameters

The parameter used to define the shape are:

  • rInt: Absorber tube radius.
  • rExt: Vacuum tube external radius.
  • acceptanceAngleCW (θccw): Acceptance angle in clockwise direction (respect to the axis of the CPC).
  • acceptanceAngleCCW (θccw): Acceptance angle in counterclockwise direction (respect to the axis of the CPC).
  • truncationAngle (talpha): Truncation plane inclination respect to the horizontal axis.
  • truncationOrigin (t0): Truncation plane origin height.
  • length: Shape length in the z direction.
