Scanning head consists of:

You need to drill two holes at the "PCB holder" for the slip ring wires and pass them through that holes:

Secondly, you need to install "Main PCB" to the "PCB holder" and fix it by two screws.

After that you need to connect wires of the slip ring to the PCB. See schematic and "PCB_assembly" images of the "Main PCB/CommonPCB" to find out the way of connecting wires.

At last you should make an encoder disk. It's drawing is stored here: https://github.com/iliasam/OpenSimpleLidar/tree/master/Mechanics/Encoder_ring
This disk can be made from some thick material (plastic/metal) and it must be glued to the "PCB holder". Two small arrows must be aligned corresponding to the PCB plane. Arrow with "Z" marking means zero angle of the lidar.
