What is "Entrepôt" about ?

Most of my plugins are publically hosted on GitHub.com. They are completely free and i've stopped hosting them on the WordPress.org Plugins directory. Doing so I lost one very cool feature introduced in WordPress 2.5: the possibility for users to install & upgrade my plugins directly from their WordPress' site Administration.

That's why I've built Entrepôt. I wanted to "restore" this feature to ease users life about downloading and upgrading my WordPress plugins.

Then I thought some Plugin/Theme authors, may be interested to list their free WordPress repositories they are only hosting on GitHub.com and enjoy the Entrepôt Install & Upgrade features. That's why I've decided to open it to everyone.

Plugin, Theme & Block authors can permanently or temporarly list their plugins/themes/blocks into the Entrepôt. They can easily register and unregister their plugins at anytime by simply pulling a request to this repository
