For information, there is a project that implements MozJpeg , through a .NET Wrapper for Xamarin under Mono. https://github.com/dmunch/mozjpeg.net

@auriou Thanks!

We're statically compiling the core codecs (gif/jpeg/png) into the core imaging library going forward, so there won't be a .net layer between the imaging runtime and the default codec set. This issue isn't relevant with the new design, but will certainly be useful for other projects!
