This is a simple file explorer running on top of node-webkit, it is implemented by using HTML and node.js, which are pure web techniques.
First download node-webkit binary for your platform, and then execute:
$ git clone --recursive https://github.com/zcbenz/nw-file-explorer.git
$ /Path/To/nw nw-file-explorer
