  • Knockback - 1.5
  • Speed - 0.5 (Piglin-tier)
  • Spawn in Groups of - 1-3

  • Tempted by - Magma Cream
  • Drop - Gold Nugget

About

Voline are a common hostile Nether Waste mob with a ravenous appetite for Magma Cream. As the potion is made of the stuff, they will attack anything that is doused in the Fire Resistance effect, prioritizing doing so over even attacking you. They're small and fast, but can be dealt with relatively easily if you're attentive around them.

Incapacitating and Gold Conversion

By feeding them Magma Cream or Gold Items, they'll become fatter and slower, eventually giving out to their own doziness and emitting smoke! In this state, you can safely feed them gold items, in which they'll spit out nuggets and Molten Gold Clusters, of which 2 can be used to craft the blindsight Tongue Whip, or simply craft 3 back into a Gold Ingot.

Shroomloin

  • Demeanor - Neutral
  • Health points - 10
  • Attack strength - 1
  • Knockback - 1.5
  • Speed - 0.6
  • Spawn in Groups of - 1-3
  • Will Attack - Those who hurt it or the Crimson Forest
  • Drop - Ascus Bomb

About

Shroomloin are living bipedal fungus monsters found in the Crimson Forest, who exist solely to protect their home from those who dare desecrate it. To accomplish this goal, they shoot Ascus Bombs that explode and produce an Infectious Poison akin to a splash potion, capable of spreading among entities that brush against one another and killing them. Should an entity already be infected, they will opt to melee attack enemies with a body slam instead.

While they will retaliate on an individual basis if attacked directly, they will swarm you if you dare hurt the forest itself. "Hurting" the forest includes acts such as breaking any of the blocks found within it besides Crimson Nylium and Shroomlights.

Warpbeetle

  • Health points - 10
  • Knockback - 1.5
  • Speed - 0.4
  • Spawn in Groups of - 1
  • Will Attack - Spiders
  • Will be Attacked by - Spiders
  • Weakness - Bane of Arthopods
  • Tempted by - Crimson Fungus
  • Drop - Warped Fungus

About

Warpbeetles are passive Warped Forest mobs that peacefully wander through the groves. Attacking them will force them to teleport away in panic like an Enderman.

Embody

  • Demeanor - Hostile
  • Health points - 15
  • Attack strength - 4
  • Knockback - 2
  • Speed - 0.3-0.5
  • Feared by - Piglins and Hoglins
  • Will Attack - Players, Skeletons, Piglins
  • Will be Attacked by - Ghasts and Skeletons
  • Drop - Soul Salt Clumps

About

Embodies spawn en-mass as they rise from the sand in a half-baked, crumbling body that serves as a temporary vessel, designed with the sole purpose of bringing you down into their "home" with them. Their loose corporeal form makes them easy to take out, but just make sure you're ready to multi-task, as they'll be crawling at you from all angles and at varying speeds!

Their drop, Soul Salt, allows you to "cure" Rotten Flesh into Cured Jerky, which gives you a temporary rush of Speed II!

Basalt Giant

  • Demeanor - Neutral
  • Health points - 40
  • Attack strength - 12
  • Knockback - 2
  • Speed - 0.45
  • Height - 4-6 Blocks tall
  • Spawn in Groups of - 1
  • Will Attack - Those who hurt it or the (TBA) Smolts
  • Drop - Basalt

About

Basalt Giants are huge golem-like monsters that roam the Basalt Deltas, protecting them from the invasive Magma Cubes and kicking them back into the Lava Ocean whence they came (if they don't end up killing them first.) They'll deliver a similar fate unto you should you trifle with them.

Release 2 Mobs

Glowsquito

  • Demeanor - Neutral
  • Health points - 10
  • Attack strength - 1
  • Knockback - 1.5
  • Speed - 0.6
  • Will Attack - anything that has the luminous effect
  • Will be Attacked by - Blindsight, Blackstone Dwarf
  • Tempted by - Shroomlight Tears
  • Drop - Glowcoke

About

A horrible pest straight from the Glowstone Canyons, this neutral mob just loves sucking the dust out of Glowstone, turning it to Dimstone and eventually to Dullstone. They also have a fascination with Shroomlight juice, which you can breed them with. Baby 'Squitos have Shroomlight-coloration on their stomachs and eyes when brought under light because of this. If you want to eradicate them, then come prepared, because attacking just one could result in you being surrounded by a whole pack.

Blindsight

  • Demeanor - Hostile
  • Health points -24
  • Attack strength - 2
  • Knockback - 1.5
  • Speed - 0.9
  • Will Attack - Glowsquitos, Player
  • Drop - Blindsight Tongue

About

A Blackstone-looking oddity of the Glowstone Canyons, the Blindsight is a neutral mob that uses its appearance and the Glowstone on its body to lure in Glowsquitos before using its strong legs and tongue to jump and snatch them right out of the air. If you try to attack one, it won't be scared to defend itself. Should you manage to kill a Blindsight, you will get a Blindsight Tongue, which can be made into stew and eaten for 30 seconds of Jump Boost, or crafted into a Whip that can keep enemies at bay.

Glowsilk Moth

  • Demeanor - Passive
  • Health points - 6
  • Speed - 1.3
  • Drop - Moth Dust

Boasting one of the prettiest designs in the mod, the Glowsilk Moth is the key ingredient in unlocking the power of the Luminous effect via its drop, Moth Dust! Its cocoons can also be found deep underground. When harvested, its titular Glowsilk can be used to create a new type of bow that shoots arrows that leave a path of light in their wake, inflicting Luminous on their hit targets!

Blackstone Dwarf

  • Demeanor - Hostile
  • Health points - 40
  • Attack strength - 10
  • Knockback -
  • Speed - 0.4
  • Will Attack - Piglins, Glowsquitos.
  • Drop - Golden Apple

Dazzled by the power of the ancient and mysterious Basalt Giants, the Piglins set out to create a facsimile of their own using the magical power of gold infused with a strange fruit from another dimension, and their favourite black stone found in abundance in the Basalt Deltas and Glowstone Canyons... The result was the Blackstone Dwarf!

Unfortunately, they had given life to monsters - The Dwarfs killed their creators and destroyed their homes, leaving nothing but ruins even more desolate than the already decimated Bastion Remnants. Now, they wander the Glowstone Canyons whence their material came, and if they can find one, wander to nearby Basalt Deltas to feel at home with their Basalt brethren, sometimes shedding their Piglin-resembling ears and snout to fit further in.
