Releases: infinitecoin-project/infinitecoin
Infinitecoin Core v0.14.6.1
This is a new minor version release, including important security updates.
All Infinitecoin Core users - miners, services, relay operators and wallet users - are strongly recommended to upgrade.
- The handling fee is reduced from 1-10000IFC to a fixed 1IFC, unless oversized bytes.
- Because the new consensus has been activated, the blockchain receives block rewards, the miners no longer rely entirely on the handling fee, and a substantial reduction in the handling fee helps to promote circulation.

Infinitecoin Core v0.14.3
- Infinitecoin v0.14.3 is based on Litecoin v0.14.2 and Bitcoin v0.14.3
- Validation speed and network propagation performance have been greatly improved, leading to much shorter sync and initial block download times.
- P2P networking has been refactored with a focus on concurrency and throughput. Network operations are no longer bottlenecked by validation. As a result, block fetching is several times faster than previous releases in many cases.
- When Infinitecoin Core is out-of-sync on startup, a semi-transparent information layer will be shown over top of the normal display. This layer contains details about the current sync progress and estimates the amount of time remaining to finish syncing. This layer can also be hidden and subsequently unhidden by clicking on the progress bar at the bottom of the window.
- For more details, please refer to the release notes of Litecoin v0.14.2 and Bitcoin v0.14.0 to v0.14.3
- Refer to Dogecoin v1.14.3 to v1.14.5 to display the version and icon on the main interface and reduce default mempool expiry time to 24 hours
Note
The version released by the community will never be hard-forked, will not change the chain, and will not be a mandatory upgrade.
If you don’t like the new version, you can continue to use the old version. But it is not recommended to use the outdated 0.6 and 0.8 core.
