Feature Request

The official Datadog Agent allows for specification of a custom datadog url.

Proposal:

Convert the hard-coded constant into a configuration key that can be overridden in the config file.

Current behavior:

Desired behavior:

Use case: [Why is this important (helps with prioritizing requests)]

Allows the user to change the endpoint that the metrics are submitted to.
