The parallel toolbox divies up tasks in a parfor loop and does not allow cross communication which renders MATLAB's waitbar obsolete. Please work around MATLAB's shortcoming to improve this functionality and provide a reasonable estimate of the amount of work accomplished in batch mode and how much time remains on the overall job.

The current toolbar does not close when finished either under the parfor implementation.
