ownership / profit distribution

i love Interconnect, i'd love to help. :)

this issue is related to #14, #15, #37.

will Interconnect be an open company / open value network, as in like Gittip, Sensorica, etc, where profits are distributed to network of contributors based on value of contribution? everything about Interconnect seems to point to yes, i just couldn't find a definite answer. this is very important to me as i worry that without open ownership / profit distribution, the rest of the openness (information and governance) may not survive the long-term.

maybe there is a better solution for Interconnect with regards to ownership, i'm just curious what the solution is.

Correct. Everything will be completely open. Our funding model for Interconnect will be the way Gittip earns it's money. We have gotten sponsors previously, but they have been for my time to work on Interconnect and some other private projects the sponsors have to see if they can be integration. This is in part the beauty of the open model. It empowers individuals through the teams they are in.
