It would be interesting to have a notification system to know when the documentation pages in Open Library site are changed in order to keep the translations up to date.
Describe the problem that you'd like solved
The translation work is quite arduous at the beginning, when no translation is yet available. It is time-consuming and labour-intensive. Then it becomes easier, simply by adding the small changes that are made very occasionally to the reference pages (the English documentation). When the translation already exists and is faithful to the original in English, it is very easy to keep the translations up to date and takes very little time.
However, maintenance of the translations is not possible without a notification system that alerts the translator that changes have been made to the documentation pages and the translation needs to be updated.
Proposal & Constraints
This could be via email, via RSS feed or any other system that fits the requirements of the Open Library site. Wikipedia's notification system, for example, notifies the user via email.
