Currently the names shimmer and goshimmer are used in parallel. This should be consistent.
The name is used in the following locations:

  • README
  • Name displayed in the status screen
  • Binary name in Makefile
  • Name of the default log file configured in config.json
  • Binaries created with goreleaser
