Anyone with access to the 1pass can add new delegated hosts to calls by signing into the zoom web interface as Zoom #1, #2, or #3.
- **Why don't we use Zoom Webinars?** See our decision thread at https://github.com/ipfs/pm/issues/571. Instead, we have enabled and use the 3rd party livestreaming capability to stream to YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/c/IPFS-dweb/live. Hosts will find this option next to "record" in the "..." options at the bottom of a call. A Zoom account needs to explicitly enable the "livestreaming" capability (in meeting settings) and set up the handshake between a specific meeting and a YouTube channel to livestream to (at the bottom of the meeting details page through the link that says "configure").
- **How do I save call chats?** Chats are not saved by default. In order to keep a record of your chats after the call ends, go into _Meeting Settings/In Meeting (Basic)_ and then turn on _Auto saving chats_. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115004792763-Saving-In-Meeting-Chat

# 🙌🏽 IPFS Weekly Call 📞

## Motivation

For the past couple of months, we have been discussing revamping our Weekly Calls (formerly known as the IPFS All Hands ). If you want more context, please see this issue https://github.com/ipfs/pm/issues/636.

We want the IPFS Weekly Call to act as a space where we can showcase all of our hard work and game-changing projects. These meetings give viewers a taste of some of the problems we are tackling.

## What's in it for you? 😺

The main purpose of the 🙌🏽 IPFS Weekly Call 📞 is to highlight the most exciting work in the broader IPFS community and disseminate high-value knowledge to the many teams improving IPFS, building on top of it, or doing relevant research. You can use these weekly calls to:

## Speaking at the Weekly Call

### Steps to signing up and speaking

- 1. Write a short abstract about your talk and propose a date. Consulting the [calendar of upcoming talks](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XRB2QsPzCPLPOErKvDZfOKK3CMohI9t_QKNdztYMlK0/edit#gid=350755898) can give you a good idea of which dates are available.
- 2. Send your abstract to `ipfs-weekly-call-rfp@ipfs.io`. Someone from the IPFS Community WG will follow up and give you an update about the status of your talk within 24-48 hours.

This is a regular and reliable call where everyone who's working on any repository under the IPFS umbrella checks in and has a chance to either call attention to particular items, to make announcements, or to seek discussion of a topic. It's also a way for casual followers to get a high-level update on the pulse of the IPFS projects without having to follow all of the sprint calls. Newcomers are very welcome.
