It would be great if the exit() function simply closed ipythonqt (both the gui and kernel) without any the yes/no QT dialog box. It makes sense to leave the dialog when closing the window (to guard against accidental clicks), but typing "exit" is rarely going to happen accidentally.

This has been implemented in the master branch.
