I noticed that in recent builds from master, tab completion appears to be broken. If I press tab after typing a few letters of a numpy expression, for example, the list of candidate completions pops up, but following this it is no longer responsive to the keyboard. In this screen capture, you will see that trying several different keys after hitting the tab just causes the list to disappear, but no characters are added to the cell.

This is a build from master only a couple days old, on OS X 10.9.1.

Hi Chris,

I can confirm the behavior you are seeing, but I believe this has always been the case in the Notebook interface. I just checked - and that was the case in 1.1, and at least going back to 0.13.

Or are you seeing this one: #4860 ?

If so, let's mark this as duplicate and close with "no action"

@ellisonbg that sounds like the same thing. Could have sworn it worked in earlier versions but I have not checked.

Yes it was working, I remember adding the feature.
