Fernando and I have merged two huge branches into trunk. We need to update the What's New for our branches before 0.11 is released.

The What's new document is long out of date and I am not sure it matches our current dev style. What do we want to do with this document?

I guess the current plan is to update the What's New document, but only upon a release and only including the major changes.

Yes, something akin to Python's model is probably a good lead to follow:
