markdown interactive table editing like in Excel

It's nice that GitHub shows Markdown as a table but it would be much better if I could edit Markdown tables interactively.

I would like something like that:

Btw. accidentally I reported this as dear-github/dear-github#352 .
Until today I didn't even know there are two separate repos for reporting GitHub bugs and feature requests.

It would be great to merge them together (dear-github/dear-github#207).

Edited title to make more precise. I think this comes down to having a full blown markdown wysiwyg editor.
