The PR is not required. We aren't using the 2.0.0 branch. It is created automatically by the CI system and will be replaced when a new 2.0.0 RC is created.

@markt-asf You might want to check that CI system or disable TravisCI because it keeps failing for some strange Enforcer problem with the Maven version. Everything built fine locally, so it certainly has nothing to do with the module name fix.
