Weather Dashboard

Description

This Weather Dashboard includes...

• A search function to search for the weather of any city
• Present and future conditions for the city searched
• Current weather conditions for the searched city presents the city name, date, an icon of the weather conditions, temperature, humidity, wind speed, and UV index
• The UV index will be either green (favourable conditions), yellow (moderate conditions), or red (severe conditions)
• A five day forecast will be presented for that city, displaying the date, an icon of the weather conditions, temperature, wind speed, and humidity
• Clicking on a city in the search history will present current and future weather conditions for that city

User Story

AS A traveler
I WANT to see the weather outlook for multiple cities
SO THAT I can plan a trip accordingly

Acceptance Criteria

GIVEN a weather dashboard with form inputs
WHEN I search for a city
THEN I am presented with current and future conditions for that city and that city is added to the search history
WHEN I view current weather conditions for that city
THEN I am presented with the city name, the date, an icon representation of weather conditions, the temperature, the humidity, the wind speed, and the UV index
WHEN I view the UV index
THEN I am presented with a color that indicates whether the conditions are favorable, moderate, or severe
WHEN I view future weather conditions for that city
THEN I am presented with a 5-day forecast that displays the date, an icon representation of weather conditions, the temperature, the wind speed, and the humidity
WHEN I click on a city in the search history
THEN I am again presented with current and future conditions for that city

Installation

To install this application, clone the code into your terminal for the respective repository.

Usage

1. Search for a city in the search bar, then click "Search"
2. View the present and future weather conditions for that city
3. Search for a new city in the search bar
4. Click on previously searched cities which are saved in the left hand side of the web page
