Welcome to the gliding wiki! Since a couple of years (april 8 2015), the flemish gliding clubs, organised in LVZC, are part of a ATO group, which confines all instructions in a proper way. We received an official approval from the DGLV with number BE/ATO-323. To make gliding more safe, I developed, together with our safety manager, this application. It serves the purpose to register all incidents/accidents, and to follow them up with possible one or more actions. Previously all these incidents/accidents were registered in a book (red book), but there was no real follow-up, except at winter time, when everything must be handed over to the safety manager. It was a lot of work for the safety-manager to type everything over into a spreadsheet afterwards. From now on, there is no more excuse to not register an incident/accident!!
