This PR intends to make the lives easier for the triage team when looking through issues.
This is the result of the discussion in #10872

Some additional info on this one:
Ideally there should be some automated tool (@thornbill suggested github actions) setup to update the versions every time a new version releases. The options the version field should contain are as follows: Current release (n), Previous Release (n-1), n-2 and older, Unstable (master branch)

i think this would be a good solution in the end, but i see no issue with going forward with static versions for now.
