Configuration Environment for lmfit (Levenberg-Marquardt least-squares minimization and curve fitting) at http://apps.jcns.fz-juelich.de/doku/sc/lmfit
- cmake (for v7.0)
- autotools (up to v6.4)
One can install lmfit with the following orders:
lmfit-env$ make init
lmfit-env$ make build
lmfit-env$ make install
In case that make build
returns the following errors:
error: ‘for’ loop initial declarations are only allowed in C99 or C11 mode
error: initializer element is not computable at load time [-Werror]
one need to patch the source code via make patch
before make build
lmfit-env$ make init
lmfit-env$ make patch
lmfit-env$ make build
lmfit-env$ make install
For CentOS, one should run the following also
lmfit-env$ make setup
All files are installed in /usr/local/{lib,include,man}
- Edit configure/CONFIG_MODULE
MODULE_TAG:=tags/v7.0
or
MODULE_TAG:=tags/v6.4
- Download the main lmfit from apps.jcns.fz-juelich.de/lmfit
- Switch to Release number selected in CONFIG_MODULE
- Enable --std=gnu99 options
- (v7.0) Prepare cmake environment
- (v6.x) Prepare autoconf environment
- Build lmfit
- Install all files (lib, include, man) into /usr/local (default)
- Delete downloaded source file (lmfit directory under lmfit-env)
- Create ld.conf for lmfit target directory (/usr/local/lib)
