Symlink node/npm/yarn binaries to user defined NVM_BIN

Is there ability to set permatent NVM_BIN location, like "${XDG_DATA_HOME}/nvm/bin" and setup node by symlinking it's binary directory, e.g.
ln -s "${NVM_DIR}/versions/node/<VERSION>/bin" "${NVM_BIN}"
?

After looking at sources, found that NVM_SYMLINK_CURRENT does what i need
