Google-Map-Location-Marker

In this project I have used Google map API's to mark locations on it. It is possible to temporarily mark few locations using red location pins.

Initially I had marked five states of India (West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Nagaland and Mizoram).

If the user clicks on these pins it shows which location is it pointing to

Now say I want to mark locations of New Delhi, Kanpur, Ranchi Kolkata all I need to do is click on the location I want to add a marker to.

Steps to get started:

1. Create an account on google cloud platform ( https://console.cloud.google.com )
2. Create a new project.
3. From your Dashboard select API's and services -> Library -> search 'Maps Javascript API' -> click Enable.
4. Now you'll need to create your API key.
5. API and services -> Credentials -> Create Credentials -> API key -> Restrict

You'll be needing this API key in index.html file.
