Hi everyone,

I'm a newby into hackintosh and after spending hours browsing into forums, ended up here to give try to solve this shutdown issue.
First, I'm having all set Mojave 10.14.6 on T440p / i7 2.8Ghz /graphic Intel 4600/ 16Go Ram 2333Mhz.
Using or not the computer, when started, it shutdown itself (without any stress) after a while. Can be an hour or severals.
Have been thinking that excess of heat could be the problem, so decided to clean up the thermal paste and applicate the TF8.
CPU is about 5 to 10°C cooler (great!) but nope didn't change the shutdown thing.
Have tryed to run RAM test with Rember (max test set) but never managed to finish up before a random shutdown...
On the console, I saw couple of time SubPub appearing just before it crash. And since I'm not familiar with this can say that much more about it.

Thanks for helping out! or letting me know some further test that I could do to identify this issue.
Best.

Try another OS to confirm it's not related to macOS. Sounds like a hardware problem.

Hi!
I followed your suggestion with another OS. Have been testing from few days now, Elementary OS as a side boot. So far, no issues under Elementary that I could find out. I will continue to try it more (under battery, long stress on, running others tasks...) to make sure nothing appears later on before getting on some conclusions.
