The August mobile applications talks to a lot of services in addition to the August APIs. This page outlines some of the third party services the August application interacts with (or has interacted with in the past).
August send Google information about which functions inside the application are being used timing information. August claims this data is being collected to allow them to improve the performance.
One of the main things customers have requested is for faster lock/unlock operation. We have been using Google Analytics to try and understand where the bottlenecks are, and since GA does not store per-user data, we only use it for performance improvement and reliability analyses. -August
Used to store all photos you upload in the August application.
August send New Relic information about which functions inside the application are being used and information on hardware utilization (cpu usage).
