tig allows matching based coloring on the lines without the cursor and allows changing color of the cursor line.

Suggesting a change to combine these behaviors that allows the configuration below:

color cursor "--- "	white yellow default
color cursor "+++ " white yellow default
color cursor "+"  white green bold
color cursor "-" white red bold
color cursor default white green bold
