Steps to reproduce the issue

As title say:

Expected result

Menu- and Search-Module vertically aligned.

System information (as much as possible)

@Formatio-hippocampi You have to switch off display of the search field label in the search module's settings:

Thanks, works. The Edit-Icon isn't shown in Frontend for "Search"-Module, other Modules show it. Have i overlooked another Setting?

Move Search-Module to Position "sidebar-right" get Edit-Icon without change of Access-Level.

No idea if that is desired behavior or not, but it is definitely not related to this repository here where we handle development on the frontend template, it is a new issue for the CMS repository.

And the issue here with the search field title is solved.

So I'm closing this one. Feel fre to open a new issue iun the CMS repository for the other issue with module edit in the header area.
