Generate application key
php artisan key:generate
Setup environment config vars (eg. database)
DB_HOST=127.0.0.1
DB_PORT=3306
DB_DATABASE=homestead
DB_USERNAME=homestead
DB_PASSWORD=secret
Run migrations
php artisan migrate
php artisan db:seed
php artisan db:seed --class=TagSeeder
Server via composer
php artisan serve
or if you prefer to use the embedded docker (laradock)
cd laradock
cp env-example .env
Run containers
docker-compose up -d nginx mysql phpmyadmin redis workspace
Setup environment config vars (eg. containers settings)
DB_HOST=mysql
REDIS_HOST=redis
QUEUE_HOST=beanstalkd
Serve via docker
docker-compose exec workspace bash
~/bash: php artisan serve
