@davelab6 apache 2 is compatible with google fonts right? :)

Yes, although OFL is strongly preferred, because OFL is incompatible with all other licenses

Also Apache has requirements for attribution which may extend to documents which isn't suitable for fonts

@davelab6 If I use OFL and a reserved font name of "Barlow," should I worry about this? Or in this case would I just not use a reserved font name, and hope to quietly become the canonical Barlow? :) http://www.fonts2u.com/barlow-by-thunderpanda-ver-01.font

@davelab6 also -- if there is no reserved font name, will that prevent the issue that FontSquirrel has with doing its own conversion? I've updated the license to OFL without a reserved font name. agree about attribution, doesn't make sense for a font going over the wire.
