Overview

Following-up from #1536, which deprecated the junit-platform-surefire-provider, it now can be removed.

Deliverables

  • Delete subproject junit-platform-surefire-provider
  • Remove junit-platform-surefire-provider references in build scripts
  • Remove junit-platform-surefire-provider-related documentation from User-Guide

Remove custom Surefire provider

* Delete junit-platform-surefire-provider directory
* Erase junit-platform-surefire-provider from build scripts
* Update User-Guide and Readme file
* Simplify license management
* Delete licences from sub project directories
* Include license file from root directory
