Copy Code to Clipboard

Hey,
I like to use the code blocks for shell commands. Often when I do this I start the command either with '$' or '#' depending on whether the command should be run as regular user or root. Usually if I need to copy a command I do it manually. With the copy code to clipboard button, would there be any way to make it ignore the first character (I guess it would be first character and the space following) if the code block is shell and the character is either '$' or '#'?

Hi @UnclassedPenguin, thanks for the question and sorry for the delay! Hm, as of now there is no "out-of-the-box" way to do this, but we could certainly support a feature that implements this logic (ideally, it would be opt-in and somewhat configurable). If you'd like that, I recommend submitting an issue so we can discuss more!
