Tracking issue to test changes in the field api with marshmallow v3.

Latest marshmallow (3.0.0rc7) introduced some breaking changes. Should I create a dedicated issue?

I'm still planning on tackling this, however life issues have gotten in the way and it'll be mid/late July before I can begin on this.

In the meantime, I'm happy to review a PR that wants to get started before then. I can handle that in early July (like the 6th or 7th).
