The upscaled output for my video seems to have "smudges". How do I prevent that?

Hello, so I'm trying to upscale an anime opening for a Youtube video I'm planning to make. The original video is 1920x1080 and there are no problems with it at all when played and runs fine.

After a quick browse online, a lot of people recommended using Waifu2x NCNN Vulkan (since it upscales much faster) so I chose that driver to upscale my video for approximately 4 hours. After it's done, some parts of the output video seem to have been messed up in terms of quality or "smudged". I don't really know the proper term to describe it since I'm not really an expert in videos so I don't know how to search the issue online (but I appreciate it if you can tell me what it's called and why it's happening). Since I have only downloaded this yesterday and don't really know anything about it, I just left the Express Settings as is, but I'll post a screenshot anyway on what I used for the video:

So with these issues in mind, may I ask how can I prevent this from happening? Do I still need to modify some stuff in the settings for the upscaling to be better? Feel free to ask me any questions if necessary. Thank you very much! 😄

Looks like your player's hardware decoding issue. Disable hardware decoding and try playing the video again.
