The fun begins when you receive your “Welcome to Kaizen Garden” email. Keep that information safe and handy; it provides all the initial links and login credentials you need to set up your primary web domain (and additional domains/virtual servers).
Your account has four administration locations that will be needed along the way. Have your Welcome email and login credentials ready. Details for using these locations are within the respective links:
- Virtualmin (set up your web and database servers)
- PowerAdmin (manage your DNS zones, including MX records for email)
- My Kaizen Garden (establish email domains)
- MailDB (create and manage email accounts per domain)
- Email accounts
- Email mailing lists (Mailman)
- Shared server names (shuttles and starships)
- Package applications (what’s available)
- Limits and caps (based on your account type)
- Security (various topics)
- Backups (how to; also, you’re advised to)
- Add-ons (dedicated IPs, SSL certificate, etc.)
No publishing systems or tools are installed on Kaizen Garden servers automatically. You install what you want to use. Following are notes to be aware of respective to a given system. Notes are added as they come to attention.
