DBLP Use Case

We present some plots that emphasize the accuracy of the EGG output for the DBLP use case. More plots are available in the DBLP output repository.

The plot below shows the validity of authors. At the beginning, all authors are invalid. Once an author becomes valid, he cannot become invalid afterwards. Consequently, the number of valid authors is always increasing throughout the snapshots.

The plot below shows the validity of the coauthorship relation between authors. At the beginning, there is no coauthorship as no author is valid. Throughout the snapshots, the number of valid coauthorships varies according to a given probability distribution.

The plot below shows the evolution of the number of publications for every edge of type coauthor.

The plots below show the validity of two randomly-chosen nodes of type author.

The plots below show the evolving properties of two randomly-chosen edges of type coauthor, each of them having two evolving properties: validity and # of publications (num_publi).
