From suggestion of @SmokinClove I tried out mix blend mode

and also by learning out of this new conic-gradient (which is sadly only available in Chrome)

I achieved this!

Note to self: Probably not going to merge this branch to master until Firefox supports it (which means in the far future)

Further challenges include:

  • Use background color that is not #000 (ideally something like #222, but doing so means tweaking the color of this conic gradient?)
  • Use a real image as the page's background image to achieve a "flower of life" overlay effect

Update: Found this, but they are using images (ask mask and the color wheel).

Also realized that the color wheel gradient is not strictly a uniform circular gradient 🤔
