copy and paste of a streetmix URL broken after moving to webpack

options:

MVP using existing DOM - migrate some code from webpack streetmix-loaders to index.html file
Experiment with Vartiste UI
Start with a state component
Start with revising the street component to accept JSON only, not a URL, and instead make a new loader component

Simplest - force reload when new street provided (new hash value)
