"Prefer Native Applications" cannot stop launching Youtube app

Hello,
When I click on a youtube link, there is no way not to launch YouTube app , even if this option is unchecked.
Lets say i Google search "u2 live" . When i click on a m.youtube link, Youtube app is launced.
The only way to avoid this is only when "Desktop site" is checked.
This happens with Google search . DuckDuck Go and other search engines does not have that issue .
Tested also with older versions, didnt help.
Tested on many mobiles (android 7 - 10)
Just after a fresh install it sems that works, but after 5-10 repetitions it does not.
This is a very critical option for me . I do not use Kiwi as long as this option does not work .

I have the same issue. I prefer watching YouTube with my browser instead of the app.
Kindly fix this issue
