Comparison of Anycubic Touchscreens

  • Left: The "old" i3 Mega TFT, based on the Nuvoton NCU120LC1 MCU, which was also built in the Mega S til early 2020.

  • Middle: The original DGUS II TFT with T5 Dualcore ARM Microcontroller and OpenSource Firmware. This TFT can also be found in the Anycubic 4MAX.

  • Right: The "new" Anycubic 0.0.2 Mega S and Mega P TFT, which was introduced in Mid 2020. Almost the same Interface like the DGUS II, but without animated Buttons. It's also closed source, based on a STM32F103 single core ARM Microcontroller. Maybe a DGUS Clone. It also has a filename sanitizer built in, which does not allow displaying anything else but gcode files.

Update 03/2021: The Anycubic 0.0.2 TFT is also used in the newer MEGA X and latest CHIRON Model! If you have a Mega X or Chiron and the Special Menu is not shown, use the MEGA_X_DGUS / CHIRON_DGUS Release.

Update 04/2021: It might be, that your MEGA X TFT gets stuck sometimes or plays some music. In that case you might need a Firmware Update. Just extract the zip and put the DWIN_SET Folder onto a MicroSD card. Put it into the card slot on the back of your TFT and boot up your printer. The Update takes place automatically. The SDCard must be formatted with FAT32 (4kb cluster) filesystem!
